APRIL 2007 HIGH POINT EARNER

ROCHELLE RONDY

Rochelle and her husband Jim and son Jerome enjoy penning together locally and nationally.  Her fastest or most memorable time was in Oklahoma when she got a blazing fast time of 14 seconds with team mates Eric Weber and Jim Rondy.  She hopes that team penning will keep growing and remain a non-political fun family sport.  Rochelle runs the Bar JR Ranch with husband Jim and son Jerome. Jim also trims cattle hooves for a living. Good job to Rochelle for work well done!

MARCH 2007 HIGH POINT EARNER

JIM RONDY

Jim and his wife Rochelle and son Jerome enjoy penning together locally and nationally.  Jim rides a four year old horse that he trained himself called "Smarty".  Jim has been penning for 11 years. You will always know who is in the arena by the way he communicates with his team mates.  He likes to use his strong voice to get the excitement going. His fastest or most memorable time was in Oklahoma when he got a blazing fast time of 14 seconds with team mates Eric Weber and Rochelle Rondy.  He hopes that team penning will keep growing and remain a non-political fun family sport.  Jim trims cattle hooves for a living and runs the Bar JR Ranch with wife Rochelle and son Jerome.  Good job to Jim for work well done.

FEBRUARY 2007 HIGH POINT EARNER

MARK BUTCHER

Mark and his wife Dawn enjoy the sport of team penning as a family affair.  Marks goal is to hopefully travel more this year with Dawn and his new horse "Sweetie".  Mark has been penning off and on for the past 5 years.  I asked him if he remembers his fastest time. He told me that they just keep getting faster and faster.  He really likes the friendliness of the teampenners and hopes that it can remain that way.  He knows that there are people out there that get pretty upset if they don't win.  His comment was "the wins are an extra bonus, if you loose you always have the next penning to compete at".  Keep it fun!

I can't agree more.

Mark owns a carpentry business.  He does anything from building barns to laying carpet.  If you have been to the Bar JR Ranch you will have seen his spectacular work. Mark also owns a small farm that he loves to spend time at. Good Job to Mark, and hope you have many more successful years of team penning.
