Many in our group did very well competing: Ron and Margie Holzgen, Terry Beckhorn, Tom Frith, Connie Elsasser, Rebecca Sauber, and Ryan Landcamp did a great job!  The majority of them made 2nd go rounds.  This is a great accomplishment since most classes had more than 250 teams!

Great Job to everybody!!

"THREE"

He walks in with great confidence, looks at the cows along the fence.

They are all bunched up just right, in the middle but not too tight.

He can only trust the partner on his back; will put him on the cows he must track.

They have an advantage and know what they must do; the only set that remains is the number two.

The flag drops and they hear the call, Number two. Look there all three on the wall.

His rider, his partner, puts him in place; off they go at the amazing pace.

He makes his move and takes them clean; the cows take off with a head of steam.

He works them and drives them down the pen, wondering if they will stop and try him again.

They round the wing and head for the gate, they have made it this far, but for them it’s too late.

All his friends have done their job, and three horses close in, they came together and once again, put all THREE in the pen.
